Oh, you, Holly, you suck me in like no one else. Roy is just so wonderfully pathetic, so laid bare. There's the best kind of anguish to this fic. So good!!

I made my friend watch Hoot with me the other day because the sexual tension in this movie is like, ridiculous, amplified by reading the novel beforehand, which I've done. Fact is, I've never seen kids look at each other like Roy and Mullet do. Particularly Roy. At Mullet.
So saying, I had to find fic and was so unbelievably glad to have found you. You are an incredible writer, one of the best for any fandom I have read. Thank you for writing =)

It's so true about that movie. Even my boyfriend, who makes fun of me for thinking everything is slashy, said "this is so gay" during that boat scene. Maybe it had something to do with the actors or the direction or I don't know what, but it's also such a romantic story when you think about it that way . . . very Wendy & Peter Pan. :D

The dreams you write are amazing. (fuck who am i kidding the whole damn thing is amazing) But the dreams stand out to me, because they're perfectly dream-like and fit in perfectly. Your stories make me want to start spouting about jigsaw puzzles.

I think I'm just going to be really blunt for a moment: I'm madly in love with your writing.
It renders me utterly incapable of coherency. It sucks me in and spits me out, and its kind of painful, but like some kind of delicacy.

More specifically though, I think the way you wrote Mullet is just perfect. He creates a real gut reaction. His actions aren't quite fair, but you can't really be mad at him anyway. And Roy, I agree with bryoneybrynn. He's just kind of raw, in a way that is painfully realistic.

I just found this story and I love it. It is so great. The characterization, and the angst, and the absolutely beautiful handling of Roy and Mullet's relationship, and the dreams. You are awesome. There's just one thing that is bothering me. Where's part three?!
