to post pictures of our new furniture. It's been a busy couple of weeks. Last Saturday, I took Alan to NYC as part of his Valentine's Day present to see the Tim Burton exhibit at the MoMA. Tim Burton's stuff really isn't my thing, but it was kinda neat. The majority of the exhibit was about his artwork and not his films. I didn't know he started as an animator for Disney, but it's not wonder Disney didn't use any of his stuff for their films...that guy is demented! Alan really enjoyed it though, which is all that matters.
We had planned on going up to Harlem to the Cloisters, which are part of the MoMA, but it was cold and rainy and I really didn't feel like walking around the park in the cold, so we spent the rest of our time there wandering around Macy's and Toys R Us in Times Square. It was nice to get away from Boothwyn for a day!
Yesterday we went to an auction, and boy did I get fried! I didn't think to put on sunscreen for the day, but uhm, yeah, definitely should have! My arms, face and chest are RED. I don't think I've been this burnt since I went to Hawaii in college. I say this every time I get a bad burn, but now I know to wear sunscreen! Let's just say that when we go to Florida in a month, I will be putting on SPF 50 or higher. I really don't want to deal with a burn like this while on vacation.
And now, for the much awaited furniture photos...
