hurry
A quick post before i go and do my work out.
today was just tiring.
I stained the little bench that we have just chillin in the front of out house...then I was like, "dude, I HAVE to do something more." you know how im on thins whole diet deal or whatever..well i guess its a diet..but anyways. I was just trying to stay active and such, so i was like Grams what else can i do...
well we have this area in front of our house that is just a pile of dirt really, is where the bench sits that i just stained. But we have these like..moutain rocks or whatever there to keep it looking nice, instead of just that nasty North Carolina clay with a bench on it. These are flat rocks, that you buy at a store, obviously. Which makes me ask,"way is it ok to sell things that mother nature reproduced?" SIIGHS. So grams is unhappy with the way that they looked so i was like, ill fix it. HA!
I wanted thi to be my little project. Now I knew that the rocks were going to be heavy n all, but my little project turned out to be bigger than i thought. lol.. It happens to the best of us.I mean I just started getting all these ideas as to what we should do to make it look nicer. I won, like always, when it came to how it would end up. you see, grams has a way of not wanting to take what I think will look nice serioously sometimes..lol..But Im hard headed and I won out in the end.
I took ou each of the big rocks-did i mention that they are flat rocks?- and laid them in the driveway, because I wanted to pressure wash them. I told gramsif I was going to do the project that it was going to be amazing and done my way..lol..So the rocks are about 40 in total, were lined up on the drive while i leveled out the ground and took dirt out of the area that i was working..then pressure washed the rocks. you know that fabric stuff that people put down to keep weeds from sprining up in their garden? yea I put some of that down because I didnt want my little project to be ruined later on by weeds. lol
So now all the rocks are in place and waiting for me to buy the last little addition to then. I want these little pebbles to go all around the bug rokcs..hehe..then ill put the chair back. fun fun.. A mess that I wasnt counting on was the aftermath of pressurewashing the rocks on the drive..lol..i had then to pressure wash all of the clay off the drive..lol..Im beat down tired now from it all, but its all good!
Pebbles tomorrow and my project is done!
besides all that I didnt do anything else..that project started at 10 in the morning and i wasnt done--well almost done..need pebbles--till 5 pm. I totally got consumed and didnt realize that i missed lunch until grams called me in for supper..lol..yay! meatloaf. it was yummy!
