Just Idk..
Yesturday I totally forgot that today was the day that my grams was going to the hospital to have total hip replacement surgery. What a great person I am.. : (
i remembered when at 6 am gramps came to wake me up to help him with my aunt. I have told you all before about how my aunt is a victim of a drunk driving accident which left her paralized. So i wake up and was like WHOOOAA!! why is that bright light on?? then it all clicked and i wanted to punch myself in the face for staying up so late reading. (punches self) I know how the whole process goes, but you know how in the morning you're all extra weak? well that didn't much help. lol. But all went well. She did her thing and we got her dressed. niceness..Im not as fluid with theprocess as grams is but im getting there. she just now is letting me help he out, and I know that if she hadn't needed the surgery she still wouldn't let me help. She is so stubborn, but I can't do a thing but love her. : )
I went to visit grams today aswell. She did good and since all of the good meds haven't worn off yet, she wsan't inany pain or uncomfortable. That made me happy. But what blew my mind was when the physical therapst came in the room and told her that her first session was happening now. I was like really? only 5 hours after they cut her open and gave her a new hip you want her to walk? Well walk she did. and walked far. The therapist was even impressed. Well for two main reasons, first, because she didn't vomit and second, because she walked pretty far for having a short recovery time. : )
I finished reading "At First Sight" bu Nicholas Sparks..And guess what? I freaking cried. Ugh! if I wasn't so determined to own and read ever oneof his books, I would quit! But seeing as how I just can't give up, I will probibly cry reading every book he has written..lovely..
I know that it might be cheating BUT I bought a book by a different author. Like I said, Im not quitting, I will read this book than go bact to the Sparks marathon..lol The book that I got was "The Host" by the author of the Twilight Saga, Stephenie Meyer. Hopefully its good. We shall see. : )
HA! One of the scary things for gramps and aunt debbie is while grams is in the hospital I have to cook. Well grams being afrad for his life every time I try to cook has decided that we are going to have frozen dinners. lol. Hilarious and completely sad all at the same time...*sighs* what can you do??
