Books..adventure..knowledge...
I just got home about 2ish hours ago from doing the whole Easter thing at my dads casa. Fun times. But the real kicker wasn't at dad's house, but in fact, right here in my own. I have knwn that my grams likes to celebrate all of the holidays a little but I didn't know that I would be coloring easter eggs. LOL. Okay no biggie, I actually had fun doing it. Feeling like a little kid in all of those past ppictures was quite amazing. So like after every egg coloring my fingers were green and pink and blue, just the normal everyday 22 year old tasks that had to be completed in my grmas' eyes. SO i did it! lol.
This morning I woke up early so i layed in my bed until 8 so that it didn't seem weird to grams that i was up so early. I mean i usually sleep till 9. lol. but i did my normal thing, brushed my teeth then plopped on my rocker. Yes i have a rocker. you see, grams got a nice layzboy and was going to throw the rocker away, but i had gotten too fond of it by then. so its mine. So i plopped into the chare and started to watch the normal station that grams has it on and thats when grams say that i have to get up and hunt for the eggs so that we can have breakfast. wait...what?? you're telling me that you HID the eggs and now YOU want ME to find them..Well why did you hid them in the first place? lol..OHHH! It's the whole Easter thinggy..so i had to get up and find a wopping 18 eggs that she hid. I felt like such a dork as they say in their chairs and laughed at me. UGH! it was fun though.. Like i said before, it brought out the kid in me. The lame part of it all was that we were having biscuits and gravey for breakfast..not the eggs..oh em gee..lol anyways..
Then we all loaded up all of the cupcakes, spinich dip, potatoe salad and coleslaw and headed to my dad's. where later on we had shishkabobs..Dont ask me how to spell shishkabobs cus i dont even know..lol I do know that they were yummo!!
After we got hoe I finished reading "A Bend in the Road" by none other than Nicholas Sparks..looooved it(sings)
Im about to start one of the other ones that i got hte other day that way ill have to buy new books of his and read them..oh what a hard hard life. Well I did have to manually till and seed the lawn yesturday. I couldnt stand to see the grams out there struggling. We got through that in about an hour. there wasn't much that needed to be done so with my help we got done rather quickly..thank god. All of this yard work is taking its toll. im sore and sunburnt. Yay for the genius that i am for forgetting to apply sunblock! lol..oh well..i can deal with the little blisters..no biggie..i literally blisterd..ugh..what can ya do..(pray that i dont get skin cancer...)
anywho... i think that's all that i have to say for now..tootles!
