We want knowledge but not the responsibility that tags along with it. Well I may be speaking for myself but i think that in general, we all can agree. You know when you were younger and jumping on your bed and your mom says to stop because you can get hurt. You are responsible now, to not jump on the bed for your safety, ( Read more... )
I could make a whole post on this one. It can be a marriage made in heaven or hell, depending on what has been learned, or not!
Just a few examples to show what I mean:
Finding out that the person you want so bad for a companion is actually head over heels in love with you, but hasn't said anything, leaves you with the responsibility of making the connection between the two of you if its going to happen, :)!
Finding out you are pregnant and the guy calls it quits on you, your responsibility lies in what ever decision you make.
You find out you have a winning lotto ticket for 'x' millions of dollars, your future 'seems secure' from now on, your responsibilities just skyrocketed off the charts!
You told some one that you loved them and meant it, you chose to be with that person the rest of yours and/or the other person life, your responsibilities include going through the dieing process with that person, no matter how stressful and/or painful that process is/was,:( !
Yes, I do agree with you, with knowledge comes responsibility.
