I have to say...I am absolutely ecstatic that the Wings are in the Finals again! They were seriously scaring me going into the Playoffs, and I can't be happier with the way they have been playing! The whole team has been amazing, and with all of our injuries, some of the guys have really stepped up. (CLEARY! YAY!) And Ozzie has been amazing, as always. I always feel a little smug when he plays amazing, cause I feel like it shuts up all of the critics who are always so negative towards him.
But I also have to say that I'm a little peeved we have to sit through another Wings/Crosby showdown. Cause that is what the League and the networks make it out to be...our team vs. the face of the NHL. I've always been so frustrated about this, and I don't think I would be if I thought that Crosby deserved it. Cause to me, he is still a young, whiny baby. When he finally grows up, learns how to play defense, and becomes a true professional i.e. Steve Yzerman, then I would think he deserved it.
I just know that I'm going to be so sick of hearing his name, since it is all the analysts ever want to talk about.
Let's just hope we can shut them up again!
