Thank you for the comment :) Glad that the darkness within the painting translated well.

New Exhibit!! Way to go! This organic series is starting to really grow on me. I like the new one. Good work on the acrylic/mixed media on masenite. Very textured. Is this a new direction?

As always fantastic work!

Thank you Tara. I'm getting use to this series as well...lol. This relaly is the beginnings for me, I feel i have so much more to explore and with what will shorly be quite different results. But i relaly do feel i cant jump this process and just have to continue to explore these particular colours and compositions.

The masenite was just an experiment to do something very different. May do a few more of the type, but not something i will take to far.

Wow.
I wish I knew how to paint with oils.
Your work is simply amazing. I wish I could be there to see the exhibition.

Well i'm glad i posted the group shot then, even if you cant be there, its still something ;)

Amanda, it's really not about knowing how to use oils, its all about expressing yourself, trust me i know, i break a lot of rules of oil paintings and not always do things the conventional way. But i think that can only be to your advantage in the end. Once you get around the few basic rules of oils, the rest is up to you to explore and use as you will. Like everything it take practice.

Thank you Amanda :)
