Back from San Francisco and I think it might be time for a wine tasting in the immediate future as I don't think there is room for all the wine any more. I am sure nobody is going to argue with a wine tasting.
This trip I made it to Gloria Ferrer, Honig, V Sattui, Alpha Omega (where I had a barrel tasting which was pretty awesome), Lynmar, Iron Horse, Morgan, and Martinelli (my favorite, but I think it is because Helen Turley makes the wines... so good). Best part was being with Jal and getting the 30-40% "friend of industry" discount with all tastings etc free. Apparently it would have been even better if one of his friends had been working at one of the wineries as he thought we might even get a free case.
So yeah, time for a wine tasting. Gotta trim the wine collection! No room! (not the worst problem ever) ;)
