out of the tree!
'ello there, Diary!
Pearl and me been out and about, yes we have! We even went downtown, oh yes we did! We're quite excited bout gettin' out of this old, blasted tree. It's nice and cozy, you know, but there's not that much space. We've been kind of cramped. Plus, last winter, we had a bit of a flood.. and there's this nasty mildew stench down here. Quite bad on Pearl's allergies, y'know.
But anyway...
We went for a long ride out in the forest. Felt great! Pearl got to stretch her legs, and I got to enjoy the scenery. There's a lot more plant life than last time! I'm convincin' Pearl for us to go bird watchin' tomorrow, but she's so loud, I fear, she might scare the birds away. Perhaps I'll sneak off when she's nappin'.
Anyway, we even got to go killin'! Oh, that was a blast. I love goin' killin'! Good times, good times. Ahh, this is the life.
Oh, it's time to go swap old war memories with Pearl at dinner. Catch ya later, diary!
