The pain had hit soon after he had withdrawn (not run away, he didn't run away, it wasn't running away), and it was all he could do to stumble into his room and lock the door, not even making it to the bed.

He hadn't felt pain like this in a long time, and he had tried to heal himself - but it didn't work, he couldn't concentrate long enough to cast a spell or summon anything. His whole body ached, and the Niflheim had lowered his body temperature - not that the temperature really mattered so much, but it only added to his discomfort.

So he lies there, on the floor, shaking, trying to block out the pain but finding himself unable to. He can sense someone else's presence but he's too out of it to figure out just who it is.

"... Hn?"

[Akemi stands at the door nervously for a moment, before pulling a bobby pin out of his pocket (he had no idea why he had it, but it came in handy sometimes) and kneeling in front of the door, trying to pick the lock. Carefully, but the lock was simple, and with a click, it unlocked.

Silently, he got to his feet and pushed open the door, stepping inside.]

[Michi doesn't respond, really, aside from shifting slightly. There's the signs of heavy Almighty-type damage - burns along his shoulders and tears in his clothing - and his skin, were it to be touched, is cold. He also has bruises forming on his face, and his energy is still flailing wildly, trying to regroup itself enough to heal him.]

[Akemi stares for a moment-what had Michi *gotten into*-before letting the door close behind him as he drops to his knees next to the other boy. He doesn't even stop to think, power crackling through him as he casts Prayer.]
