We interupt our silence for this late breaking news...
Well, I guess I've been troling for long enough and should just post something. There's certenly been enough going on to make a good post. I just havn't been doing that much of anything online, except reading for informative purposes. I havn't been able to get enough non-fiction. Perhaps I should read a novel. But on to the big news:
I crashed a car a highway speeds: My moms car, to be exact. I fell asleep at the wheel between medford and ashland, having traveled all the way from portland, en route to my job at 3 am. I had only 7 miles to go in a 350 mile trip. ANd I feel asleep. I woke up and the car was half in the gravel on the right side of the freeway. I was startled and pulled the wheel sharply left (I won't say 'yanked') which caused the car to fish-tail (go sideways) and pointed me directly at oncoming traffic. I had the cruse control set at 75 and it hadn't yet occured to me to apply the break. I pulled the wheel back to the right, trying to correct myself- all four wheels began to slide and I shot off the right side of the road, into a sloped enbankmet. The drivers side of the engine compartment struck first, causing the rest of the car to catapult over it and begin roling. I could smell the fresh cold dirt as it flew through where the windsheild used to be. I was thinking "oh shit.. oh shit" and hoping that if just held on I'd live though it. I occured to me that I'd really fucked up. When the car came to a stop, luckily on its wheels, I had something dripping down my head, and I though- 'I'm going to die, I'm bleeding from the head and I'm going to die.' But I discovered it was only water from the jug I had with me. One of the more deppressing parts was that I stood on the side of the road, with my head lights facing the wrong direction and my emergency blinkers on, waving at traffic for 20 minutes before someone stopped. And thats the story. My neck still hurts, but thats a small price to pay for life.
Something else- Oh, I'm going to make some beer, maby even ganja beer today. So I'll talk to all you crazy cats later.
