drive into the dawn

drive until nothing is familiar

drive until my car gives up and ejects me into someplace foreign and new

drive until I fucking forget what it was like to feel this way.

I just realized something.

I can pinpoint the exact day everything in my life started to go downhill.

And that was five years ago today.

I feel like I should have a drink to celebrate...or something.

I am an idiot for having loaded up my major 80s dance playlist on Winamp.

Now I want to dance, and I'm still in so much pain and my knee's so fucked up I need a WALKER to get my ass to the bathroom.

All of you...go out tonight and dance for me, ok? Take photos or something, since I'm basically housebound for the next two and a half

So thanks to an unplowed parking lot last night at work, I am now sitting here with crutches and a "knee immobilizer" (giant ass piece of foam that goes up and down almost the entire length of my leg), biding my time until next Thursday when an orthopedic specialist takes a look to see if I have a fractured knee or just torn ligaments, since the ( Read more... )
