(no subject)
I hate trying to scrawl notes down on my little tiny Boku Book thing with a Sharpie in the dark of a concert, because then I can never read what I was trying desperately to remember.
Anyway.
Some memorable happenings from the Ministry concert...
~ Ran into one of my ex-lovers for the third time in two days...thankfully I'm friends with this one so we were able to hang out most of the night. Still odd though O_o
~ "MY SHORTS R VIBRATING"
~ They played a Christian Death song in between Meshuggah and Ministry O_o
~ I ran into this guy going into the bathroom who looked like he could've been a body double for John Waters.
~ "The best part about being a chick at a metal show is that there's never a line for the bathroom! Those dumb fucks up there are lined halfway up the stairs to take a piss, and in here there's only three chicks waiting, and we all want the mirror."
~ Ministry had video footage playing during the whole concert, some of which was utterly breathtaking...very political in nature. During one song (I think it might've been No-W), there was footage of 9/11 spliced in with footage of those nuclear drills from the 1950s, of these little kids running under their desks and hiding their heads. There were also ones of Hugo Chavez and the Gitmo torture pics...I was so impressed by the video that I watched that half the time, and not the actual show XD
~ "Look. Look up at the ceiling there...is that cum??"
~ Duct tape truly is a wonder. Not only is it able to fix almost anything, but I was able to tape my fake tits on so I could go braless, and they stayed on all night. :D <3 duct tape.
They only played 4 songs that I recognized (So What, Thieves, No-W, and Just One Fix), but it was an amazing show nevertheless.
Well, I've got to head to the Secretary of State to renew my tags and license and whatnot, so I must be off...but man.
