Lying in bed a few minutes ago, worrying about impending surgery & looking up fentanyl on my Epocrates app -
Me: (reading off the contraindications) "Caution in renal & hepatic impairment, head injury...ICP increase? What...?"
Dan: *snickers*
Me: "I don't think it means what you & I think it means."
Dan: "...Intercranial pressure?"
Me: "...holy crap, you're right! Well done! Yeah, it definitely wasn't what we thought."
Dan: "Fucking opioids, how do they work?"
