In which I remember why I hate current music...
So I decided, after seeing the singer's face plastered OH I DUNNO ON JUST ABOUT EVERY SITE I GO TO, to listen to Tokio Hotel today. I knew nothing of them whatsoever other than that they are German, and since I like German music and the singer wasn't too bad-looking for what I consider to be a little kid (he's my sister's age), I was like "Hey, what harm can it do? I bet they'll be pretty good!"
WRONG.
Epic fucking fail. I watched a couple minutes of about three of their videos and wanted to stab myself in the brain stem with a screwdriver just for the sweet, sweet release of death. They fucking sound like Kill Hannah mated with the Backstreet Boys in Germany. And hey, did I mention I was SO not impressed? I can only assume this band is mostly marketed towards teen girls; am I right? Cuz they suck profusely. And I've actually met the guys from Kill Hannah on a couple different occasions, and they're absolute dolls. Those little scrawny Deutsche twits could not even compare.
For the record, Kill Hannah > Tokio Hotel. Go home, Tokio Hotel. The music industry has suffered enough.
