My Song...
I feel like I should bring out this song more than I used to. Basically, its the one song I could relate to, in some odd way, but I do. I hear it, and I just feel it. And I love the way that feels. Not just for heavy riffs and its breakdowns, but Howard wrote lyrics to this song that makes you feel what hes singing in your heart. Well, thats what happens to me. And it shall forever be my favorite song in the world.
Then again, alot of you all dont know what I mean cuz alot of you have never heard it before. Well, heres your chance. You can go there and it was as close to being perfect as I could get it. Loud and clear. (and if your a Halo fan, you should check it out)
Anyway, to me, I hear this song and it makes me think. How wonderous I can have things in life, but in an instant, it can be taken away. And there wouldnt be a damn thing I can do about it. And it is indeed just liek watching your whole life being set on fire in front of you. And no matter how much it hurts, burns, you have to let it happen, and go with it. Then again, it can lead to something better, OR something much much worse. Its the way life goes. It happens to everyone. Im sure we all have had a feeling like this in life, one time or another. To not being able to grasp something so dear to us and lose our focus, and we see it, as its being burned alive. And it can be anything; a relationship, a friendship, a bond bewteen families or family members. All I can really say, to be honest, its what I feel now from a past relationship. (the majority of people should know who im talking about) How it fell apart and there wasnt any recovering from it. And everytime I hear this song, I think back to everything we went through, mainly the bad times. The tears and blood, the crying and gossiping, the backstabbing and the stress. Pretty much felt like the end of the world. I had no idea what to do, but take it, and it hurt like a mothafucker. I hated life, everyone in it, I blocked everyone out, and I couldnt do anything about it. So I sat there, in my dispair, and watched as my world was set ablaze...
