Stables Update | November List!

Nov 02, 2011 22:40

The following options will be on offer throughout the month of November. Not everything will be there at the same time, so feel free to chop and change what's in there if your characters stop by as you please. Just make sure that whatever you choose to interact with is from this list!
Keep in mind that the mounts and vehicles are not going to be there forever, and while some might stay the same, at the end of the month they'll disappear and be replaced with something new.

Major Changes:
>> While the grass area outside the stables remains, the sharksheep no longer occupy it.
>> All motorbikes are gone.
>> The flying tigers are also gone.
>> The Moose remains, as always.
>> A brown horse with a white spotty backside remains a part of the horse crew. It's there every day, regardless of what might happen when it's out of the stables.
>> In the far corner of the stables are four tanks. That's right, you heard me. They're a little smaller than usual though. (Please read the info below!)
>> 3 camels wait in the stalls.
>> The Tardis has appeare-- OH AWAIT IT'S JUST A PHONE BOOTH AHAHA
>> Five magic brooms rest against the wall. (each labelled as a Nimbus 2000, whatever that is.)
>> And last but not least, six Chocobos of assorted colours pace around their stalls.

Please see below for details of each animal/vehicle!

Horses
At any time there will always be three horses on offer. Some of them will be tamed and trained while others will be wild and trying to kick everyone. Should you manage to get on the back of one, it will buck like crazy but stay on for long enough and it might start to obey. Otherwise, call Dos and he'll break it in for you! Leave a horse out for six hours and it will vanish from the grounds and re-appear back in it's stall in the stables. The horses won't be the same every day, changing in colour, build and behavior, but at any given time there will always be three of them.

One of the horses will remain the same each day, never changing as the other horses do. It's a brown mare with a white spotty backside that comes when you whistle and is rather well trained. Dos refers to this horse as 'Splunge'. It's a good horse to ride, until it sees water, in which case she will dash straight for it regardless of who is on her back or what they are doing. Once reaching the water, Splunge does not slow down, instead continuing as though she's trying to run to the bottom of the lake. Once she goes under, she does not surface, instead re-appearing back in her stable stall, soaking wet and back to her usual happy self.

Moose
That Moose. It won't freaking leave. B| The moose is currently penned up in the far corner of the stables, away from everything else and in an area well away from the other animals. Dos does not like this moose. The moose really doesn't like Dos. Approaching or raising your voice to it will result in the moose flattening it's ears, stomping it's feet and grunting at you. Push it too far or anger the moose further and it will make a good attempt at breaking it's way through the bars. Careful, the bars on the cage are strong but not invincible. If the moose breaks free, there's no telling what will happen.

Tanks
The tanks are large enough for one adult to sit in comfortably (106 x 122 x 183cm). They are pedal powered, but also possess a motor that will kick in with enough pedaling. Speed wise the tanks can hit up to 15mph/25kmph but they will slow off if the pedaling ceases for more than a minute. A tank without a weapon is no tank at all, thus these babies are packing a seemingly never ending supply of paintball bullets. Getting shot with one of these rounds will leave a dark bruise that lasts for months, and at a close enough range can break skin and/or bone. There are four tanks in the stables. TO WAR!!

Camels
Three perfectly normal camels. They're friendly enough so long as you're nice to them, and like being taken out for a ride. Be careful though, they spit.

Tardis Phone Booth.
From the outside it looks just like the Doctor's Tardis. It is however, just a phone booth. Better still, it doesn't work. From time to time, an odd static can be heard from the phone inside.

Magic Broom (Nimbus 2000)
Exactly as the name says; it's a broom and it's magic. Swing a leg over, take a seat and go for a fly around the Keep! Whoosh!

Chocobo
At present there are five chocobo on offer. They come in colours red, blue, yellow, green and black and are super friendly creatures. The chocobo are always ready to go for a run so get them out there. Mistreating or leaving a chocobo out on the grounds will get you a visit from the Stable Master. A chocobo will last 6 hours out of the stables before it vanishes without a trace.

That said, any mounts or vehicles that disappear will not reappear so play nicely and return them before time is up. Should a vehicle/mount not be returned on time or be altered in any way (dismantled, killed, used to build something else, etc), please notify me so I can update my lists. :)

Any questions, please don't hesistate to ask.
