Yesterday's focus was mostly on my Fluid Dynamics examination.
First page was true-false stuff, which was easy.
Second page was problems involving surface tension, which was also not too bad.
Third page was a problem involving viscosity, and the fourth involved varying pressure and velocity within a liquid. I hit mental-walls when I first approached these problems, so I moved on to the last page.
Last page was fairly straight forward...
So with an hour and forty-five minutes to take that test, I ended up spending a half hour on the third and fourth pages each.
15 minutes of that time either staring at the page, or running into dead ends.
But eventually I had a flash of brilliance, and managed to work my way through both problems such that I was satisfied with them. I ended up running out of time, so I missed a small part of the last portion of one of them. I feel I at least got a B on the test, which I am happy with.
I also visited with Austin today since he is in town from Virginia.
We just hung out, played some Cortex Command, got some food, real simple. But it was nice and relaxing, especially after that exam. Well, actually, Cortex Command is alright, but he pouts if he stomps me one round and then I stomp him harder the next.
Though I find it funny how Austin is playing WoW on his visit back.
Your time visiting here is limited...
And yet you sit there playing games, which you could do at home.
Ha, what a hypocrite I sound like!
My Dad also called Chester, Groucho. That was the name of the cat he had when he was in a relationship with a woman named Stacy, when I was very young myself. I bet he's dug up some fun memories for himself in saying that name. I liked Stacy though, she was friendly and by watching her gave me more insight on how to handle animals. She world at Marine World, when it was "Marine World : Africa, USA" But eventually people no longer find exotic animals flown in from around the globe to be interesting, and it got turned into more of an amusement park than anything.
More reading, more homework, more studying, more quizzes.
But my Dad got strawberries from the store today, so none of that holds sway over me.
