Its not illinois, but it isnt indiana either.The whole state doesnt fall back or spring forward,but for some reason we do.I like to go to the dunes and call it the beach.Sure we live near one of the top murder capitals of the world but we affectionately refer to it as G I.I say pop. And sometimes when I dont feel like I explaining the exact location I say I am from chi-town.Cause why wouldn't i I talk just like them. And we root for da bears instead of the colts cause we feel attached to the city.I still respect Mike Ditka and feel equally attached to Bobby Knight.And if I feel like goin to vegas all I need to do is visit the boats.I am from the region baby and damn proud of it.
