I went shopping today with my sister.
Bad Hollie.
I am now officially skint, and will remain so for at least the next 3 weeks until I can sort my finances out. (Jesus CHRIST I sound OLD! When the hell did I get old!?!)
I managed to spend about £60... on books. Luckily I had £50 of book tokens. :p It's my dad's birthday on Sunday, so Me & Rach got him 3 books and 3 dvds. I got myself 7 books, hair dye and SO LONG, SCARECROW.
Ze books I purchased are:
* 'One Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed' by Melissa P. (Erotic diary of a 15 year old.)
* 'The Various Haunts of Men' by Susan Hill. (Crime thriller - I love 'em!)
* 'Beowulf' {
* 'Selected Poems' - Charles Baudelaire {These 2 are the ones I'll get half way through then give up for something involving vampires, porn or both.)
* 'The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty' by Anne Rice. (I've heard wonderful [erotic] things about this.)
* 'Beyond the Pale' by Savannah Russe. (Vampire book.)
* 'The Last Vampire' by Whitley Strieber. (Another Vampire book.)
I was also VERY tempted by Laurell K. Hamilton's new Anita Blake book, Incubus Dreams, but I resisted! I shall buy it another day. I adore Anita Blake. Or should I say Jean Claude... *dies*
I'm so sad. Hehe.
I love buying books. It gives me such a rush. I swear they're better than shoes! Anyday.
