NaNoNaNoNaNoNaNoWriMo!

I want to participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year!
That is a BIG commitment for me, though. Especially since I don't even have a power cord for my laptop at home. I can't write it at work (even though I'm writing this...). If I can get a power cord before November starts and do a little more research, I think I might try it.

I just...I want to take it seriously. And considering all that is suddenly going on in my life, I'm worried I won't be able to.

But the story idea I plan to use is one I've had in the back of my mind for a few years now. I have had so much trouble deciding on the setting, but I've narrowed it down to a country and century and probably the decade, too. I have a couple other things to work out, though.

And, ya know, stuff like character names, etc.

But the point is to just write, and it's not going to be perfect. Get the words out there, like a draft, and it will take off from there. 50,000 words in 30 days is like 1,666.67 words/day. I should be able to handle that.

Giving this some major thought.

i write sins not tragedies, writing ideas
