interesting how you moved into this topic, it's very RL. i'm glad you wrote eva as a level-headed, somewhat open-minded, though strong, catholic. i have a handful of gay friends of catholic denominations and their mothers do not have 'gay' in their field of vision. you did eva justice without compromising the values and beliefs she was brought up with. if anyone is going to change her mind about things, it will be herself with the support of her love for her daughter. it's a good thing that honesty is a strong value for eva, else she probably wouldn't be able to deal with what she's dealing with.
i also didn't realize that aisling thinks abby is like caelan on the subject, by the sound of that i assume that they are homophobic or not accepting of or not educated about the homosexual lifestyle... i don't recall seeing anything about abby expressing her views on the subject. and abby and eva have talked so...
i guess i will just have to wait and see so hurry up with the next chapters, let's keep this story going!
