Loved this line!

and, yeah, I could kind of see them being John's kids. If he married the tallest lady in the world, holy crap, because hi. Tall.

Sam and his tall, a classic combination.

Dean came thudding down the stairs, calling for Sam. He jumped up-- wow, tall-- and said "Everything okay?"

I like how the tall keeps poinging back up.

He laughed a little at that, and scrubbed a hand back through his hair. He looked tired, I noticed for the first time-- worn out. "It's a long story. Short version, a demon killed him."

You perfectly captured Sam here.

"I just told him how he got here," she said. "He says thank you, but we probably shouldn't do that again."
and then
"Well, this is why you don't mess around with black magic. I mean, I'm glad you did, but... seriously, never try again."

These might be my favorite lines.

Hey, I abuse commas at least as much. We all have our punctuation vices. And I'm glad you liked it!

It was shiny! And I saved it to read again.

Usually I am all about abusing the comma. Nature's way of pausing sentences. But after reading this, there was glee! And glee! needs emphatic punctuation, so it was time to raid the exclamation point factory.
