New job, new perspective
So this is what it is like to be an adult... I'm loving the new job! The office, space, building is great. The new bosses are wonderful and the work is really fulfilling (granted I haven't dove in completely yet, but so far so good). The culture and work is so different than what I have been use to and I'm just loving it. More details as this all develops, but so far I feel respected and my thoughts and insight is valued.

Christmas is almost here, holy cow! How did that happen? This week I'm cramming in all the sewing I can get done before gifts are due :) Due to our limited budget, my vast amounts of fabric and my need to be creative I'm making about half the gifts we are giving this year (this includes a big item for the girls from Santa) - the other half of gifts is family portraits for all the family. I'll be glad when I have it all done and I think I have proven to some members of my family that when I ask for help I really need help and not at the last minute :) Getting started on sewing this year was tough just balancing time with the girls on the weekends and time to sew. Hopefully after Christmas I'll post pictures of all my craft projects minus what was mailed out today.
