My Adventures in Cleaning my Downloads Folder
I have been cleaning out my download folder and yesterday I finally got it down under 7 GB. 6.7 GB to be exact.
First, I Compressed my download folder with THIS (which I embarrassingly had never done before). That took it down from 9.4 to 7.27! WOW, right?
Secondly I used Delphy's Download Organizer to scan for Orphaned (I had A LOT) and duplicate files. After this my download folder is at about 6.7 GB and I haven't really deleted that much!
I also got my game to load in about 20 minutes, which is FRICKING AWESOME for me. Unfortunately, for some reason it took 45 minutes again this AM.
So now to just delete the photo-skinned clothes, and some other CC that is most definitely NOT Maxis Match, I have been hanging onto, for some reason. I also plan to go completely Maxis Match for hair too.
When I am done I am giving myself permission to go CRAZY on all the Advent and Secret Santa stuff I have been ignoring this month cause I THOUGHT I had almost 10 GB of CC.
I am done rambling...for now.
