Monday morning I had a dentist appointment, definitely not fun. I really hate when people sit there and brag about their life and try to compete with you. That's especially lame when it's a 43 year old and a 16 year old! After wards, I went over to Krista's house and went with her and Shelby to meet up with everyone at Chili's. We always have an interesting conversations when we all get together. We went over to Stacie's for a little while and then Krista and I went to the mall to attempt to get some Christmas shopping done, however, that didn't go over so well. I finally got something for my sister (she is so hard to shop for) and I am still not really satisfied.
Yesterday Katie and I went to Sonny's because I had been telling her how I was craving a turkey sandwich from there. That was interesting, we seem to always screw up whenever we go off together and cause a scene, haha.
"Excuse me, Can I get my change!?" I guess next time we need to think first. We went back to her house and hung out, rented Monster. Wow, never ever see that movie, it was horrible, we didn't even finish watching it because we were so grossed out. Nothing like we thought it was going to be! So we put in "Keeping the Faith" instead, which is a really good movie! Today we just woke up and watched Lifetime, our favorite and talked. It was really good catching up with her, we haven't gotten to hang out in such a long time and I was missing her. We had some of the best conversations about things today, I feel like I can really talk to her and we seem to be able to relate a lot. After what happened, I am glad shes beginning to realize that. It was something I've wanted to talk to her about but never really had the right time. I think we really seem to learn a lot from each other, she has always been there to keep me in line and prove that there actually are people who enjoy life without all of that other stuff. We had a long talk about God and it is just really cool to have someone I can talk about that with comfortably. I am hopefully going to go to youth with her sometime since, unfortunately, that really isn't even an option at my church. (Plus she is determined for me to meet this guy from her church that she has picked out for me, ha) I really appreciate her as a friend. No matter how long it has been since we last talked and how much we have both changed for the best and worst, we still seem to have as much fun as we ever had. I am really happy for her, it's great to hear how happy she is. You can never take for granted a best friend...
I had to come home and clean because my Nana and her husband are coming to stay with us tomorrow for Christmas, yay! I am so happy we are staying home this year, it's just not the same anywhere else! But, this weather has got to go!
Life has been really good lately... no real complaints :)
