Sometimes Life Takes You By Surprise

Good grief! I sure do miss being around people who know who I am and people who I'm already friends with. Where that establishment of friendship has already been made and there's no need for the awkward getting-to-know-you phase. Because, hey, that's already happened. I literally have not seen many of my friends since graduation.

Here's an update of my life:
I just spend two weeks at Camp Buckner in a Cabin with two different groups of 12 to 13 girls. The girls were about 9, 10, and 11 years old and were so much fun. I couldn't imagine a better place to be, and knew that I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

My birthday happened. Three beautiful girls, along with my brother and mother, came and surprised me while I was at camp and helped me celebrate my day. It was probably the best surprise I've ever received. P.S.- I'm 18 now. What's that about?

Right now, I'm packing up my backpack for my three-week trip to Europe. It's so crazy that I have to fit my little life into this one backpack. It's going to be crazy. I'll take lots of pictures and send lots of postcards, don't worry. Here's what's funny: When I was buying my backpack, the guy put weights in it so I could see how it felt. It was crazy, like 20 pounds, more or less.

I would love to see some of you before I leave on the 29th for Europe, so let me know if you're free. If not, I'll see you when I get back! Bon Voyage!

EDIT:
P.S.- I have been basically gone for three weeks, so is there anyone who can tell me what all this "prospectus"/"list" stuff is all about. I have no idea.
