Christmas Rocked!
I got some great stuff for Christmas, the best of which was a laptop, the Sims 2 Pets, and an Orlando Bloom blanket. I'm really happy about the laptop, it's going to be great not having to fight my brother for the computer every day. The Sims 2 Pets is turning out to be fairly fun, except that pets seem to have an endless repetoire of bad habits you have to train them out of, which takes forever to do. The Orlando Bloom blanket....Well, what do you expect?
Over on ff.net, it appears that PoTD has struck again, and written a new fic. I feel bad for the girl, she needs to just delete her account, and start over anew, this time sticking to the canon. She's not a half-bad writer(Okay, she is pretty bad. But with work, she could improve), I suppose.
I tried reading stories on that Maximum Ride site I've heard so much about, but had to stop for several reasons. Number one, every other user seems to need to put three huge pictures with every freaking post. One would be fine(Or even two small ones), but any more than two is obnoxious. Number two, because of all these pictures, there's many, many pages in each thread for very little actual writing. So, I have to read 40 pages of stuff for four chapters, and most of the posts consist of," OMG update update update!", then three pictures. Yes, I do enjoy the picture of the attractive male flexing shirtless(With wings, which makes it hotter). But seeing it every three posts does get annoying.
Reason three, it's just Fax, Fax, and more Fax, with a tiny bit of Figgy and Miggy thrown in every once and a while to mix things up. I like all three of these pairings(Fax is a bit cliche, but I can deal with it). People don't seem to grasp that there's other characters besides those three, or that they do things besides make out with each other. Would it kill someone to write some Mari? Seriously, that pairing has more canon evidence than any other, if you think about it. Or do my copies of the books have extra pages that no one else has, or did I somehow miss the part of the book where (Insert name of canon character #1 here) declares their love for(Insert name of canon character #2 here)?
I'll stop being a bitch now, sorry.
And to people who I've promised fics that I have not yet written: Don't worry! The check is in the mail!
