Time to catch you kids up
Time to catch you guys up with what is going down in T-town. Ok so I made it into the last cuts of the RA program, which means that I"m pretty much in. There are about 20 guys in the class and only 2 guys are getting cut so if I do all of my work and participate, God willing I'll be in. OK and now.....for the biggest news yet to date for Mr. Joel Maguire(drum roll please). As some of you know I was really thinking about staying away from home for spring break, and so while looking into what to do for spring break a friend of mine told me about a missions trip to Juares, Mexico. I got really excited about it, and I knew that was what I wanted to do with my spring break...If I wasn't going to go home I didn't want to waist it on hangin out the whole time(not that thats a bad thing). So I prayed about it, and I didn't feel like God really gave me a definite answer either way. When that happens, it normally means that I need to go check some stuff out...so I did. I set up a meeting with the missions trip coordinator, and when it was all said and done I was an ATL(assistant team leader) for the New Zealand trip this summer, and going on the leadership mission trip to Juares for spring break!!!! This is sooooo AMAZING GUYS!!! God is awesome, I would never have guessed thats what I would be doing this summer...If you would have asked me even a few days before making my final decision to go I would have told you that there was no way I would be going on a missions trip. I AM SOOOO STOKED!!! The trip is going to be 3 weeks long we leave on the 17th of May and then we'll be getting back late June. It's going to be amazing!!! I love you guys and would appreciate all your prayers..Keep it real hommies!!!!
