July 31st is Mutt's Day!
This Sunday is Mutt's Day, when we celebrate those of mixed breeding. Be they hybrids, halfbloods, mixed-bloods, or mudbloods, we love them just as much as their pureblood cousins, and we want everyone to know.
Although Mutt's Day was created for dogs and their owners, anyone can tell you canines aren't the only mixed mammals around. Human "mutts" can be multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-racial...and though we may not always know how we ended up with curly hair, or a love for art, or dreams that sometimes come true, we're thankful to have families that mix it up a bit (and that don't make us marry our siblings to keep bloodlines pure). Whether we're talking dogs or people, mutts are pretty awesome. So come celebrate Mutt's Day with us!
