Have to love Maureen for her proactive approach to keeping/making sure that Nick is safe.
He's picking him up late on Thursday and they fly out Friday morning. Sounds like Nick will be finding out about that bed in detail. When is he suppose to use Adrien's tailor, while they're in NY? Adrien should probably keep Nick on retainer for future family social events.

Is the family tailor thing unclear/confusing?

Yes I meant in NY, the anniversary is next Saturday and I figure that's ample of time for suit-fitting. (Or at least, altering an existing suit to Nicholas' measurements)

- Maureen is the voice of reason and practicality in the midst of a Harlequin plot

- Oh, I'm sure Adrien has a guest bedroom or two ;-)

- Weddings! Grandpa's birthday! Christenings! At this rate Nicholas can graduate without owing any student loans...

I think because of the time lag between them leaving and when he'd need the tailored clothing I wasn't sure when and where the suit shopping was going to take place.

Re-read this *grins*, I doubt that Adrien would tell his family that he didn't begrudge his SO the occasional fling. Nick's question about how serious Adrien and he were to appear is reasonable. More and more I'm getting the impression that Adrien is setting Nick up as a boyfriend rather than as a sub for one. He has a type he likes and Nick fits that type. AND why does someone who is that wealthy come slumming into a restaurant where Nick works?

Did I hear Sunday as the next prospective date for up-date?
I would love if a gay version of Harlequins caught on and were available as a book series.

Hey, maybe their tiramisu is out of this world or smth! Note that the restaurant is a 3-minute bus ride away instead of within walking distance, so it's not filled with college kids 24-7 X-D

By Sunday afternoon, hopefully. Sunday evening's booked up with me trying to write an 1200-character essay, which I most probably will go over, at which point I need to ruthlessly take out points so the whole thing will fit within a 4-minute presentation. *cries*

I thought they already have a gay Harlequin line? I remembered reading an article about it last year, IIRC. (Or that they were contemplating starting one). Of course it won't be sold at Wal-mart, but still =3
