Summary: Well, while I'm dredging up old drabbles from huff100, I might as well repost these two as they still make me giggle. Written for the "drinking games" prompt.
Justin set his bottle down and wiped his mouth. "The principle ingredient in a Draught of Peace?"
"Moonstone," Ernie said, taking another swig from his bottle, which was noticeably fuller than Justin's. "Er... Name a use for armadillo bile."
"In a Wit-Sharpening Potion," Justin replied promptly, finishing off his drink. "That's easy. When do you add the porcupine quills in a Swelling Solution?"
Ernie groaned, and slumped down onto the table. "This is never going to work," he said. "I'm still going to fail Potions."
"You're not," said Justin, sorting through his money. "Let me go get some more butterbeer."
"Drinking games?" Hannah's voice rose a couple of octaves. "What do you mean, drinking games?"
"It was potions revision," Justin protested.
"I hardly think you'll be tested on how to mix a cocktail!"
Ernie groaned. "My head..."
Hannah looked murderously at Justin. "How's he going to do the test in this state?" she hissed.
"It was only butterbeer! I don't understand why he's so hung over -"
"I'm taking him to Madame Pomfrey."
"No," Ernie said, paling. "You go on. I think I'll sleep it off..." And with a wink at Justin he hurried back upstairs to the boys' dorms.
