Hello everyone!

Hello! Posting this sort of thing always leaves me feeling a bit guilty, but here we go!

1. Here is my Amazon Wish List!

2. Mixtapes!!! I like pretty much all styles of music so anything is welcome! Indie pop is my favorite though! (After K-pop, but I don't need any more K-pop hahaha.)

3. Postcards! I collect artsy ones! (I don't really like the ( Read more... )

7) Have you read Biting the Sun by Tanith Lee? It's pretty much my favourite thing ever. If you like cats, Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams is very interesting, and is another old favourite. Virtual Death by Shale Aaron is more cyberpunky... and I love Idlewild by Nick Sagan.

4/8) I don't have much cute big stationary, but I have lots of cute little stationary and three boxes of Christmas cards that I'd be happy to penpal with. :P PM me your address if this seems groovy?

7. Nope! I haven't read any of these! I will add them to my to-read list!

4/8. Cute little stationary is the best tbh!! I have a lot of big stationary at the moment that I need to use. I can send you some extras blanks too if you like!! (They will be folded though.)

Super groovy and already did! ♥

7. :D Awesome - I hope you enjoy them! Virtual Death is... possibly occasionally uncomfortable (at least I've had some people say it was too weird for them), but the other three are interesting but tame. :3 Biting the Sun did a lot to formulate my ideas of gender growing up. If you like video games and 80s pop culture, I'd also recommend Ready Player One - it's another favourite!

4/8) Awesome!! :D

7. Possibly occasionally uncomfortable sounds... intriguing...... Ooo that Ready Player One one sounds really interesting! I am totally into 80's nerd culture hahahah!

Yay books. I can never decide what to read on my own so this is great!

;P If you like any of those, I may have further recs for you!

Oh, I can't believe I forgot - if you like steampunk stuff, the Soulless series by... Gail Carriger, I believe it was?

Um, and anything Neil Gaiman. ;) Good Omens is one of my top three favourite books, but I'm in love with The Graveyard Book and Neverwhere.

edit: Holy frickfrack fudgesicles, I just swung by your Tumblr, and your room is EPIC.

I have actually read Soulless! And I thought it was great! So the fact that you are reccing it suddenly made your other recs sound even tastier!

Have you read the Magic Under Glass series? I only read the first book, but it was a very cute easy read. I don't know why I just thought of it. Probably cause I read it around the same time as I read Soulless.

I actually have never read a Niel Gaiman book :O I really should get on it. I have always planned on it but never knew where to start so thanks!

edit: /embarassed/ Thanks! I have too much crap that has built up over the past 15+ years, is all. I love clutter... a bit too much! And colors. (Also I went and looked and I never uploaded recent pictures and now it is peeving me but I feel like it is too late to post them... what to do... XD)

Hehehehe, yay! I've actually only read the first half of the first Soulless because I'm bad because I was borrowing it from a friend to read it, but it's definitely on my list to finish!

Nope, I haven't even heard of it, but I've added it to my reading list! :3

OMFG - you are in for SUCH a treat! A friend of mine swears by Terry Pratchett and doesn't especially like reading Neil Gaiman, but she loves audiobooks of Gaiman's stories - something about a voice bringing his words to life, idk-so if one format doesn't work for you, maybe the other will?

Oh, gosh, it's super colourful and full, but it also looks so organized! XD This was my old room in high school, and while I can't stand living in that much clutter now, I still definitely remember loving it once upon a time - something about being completely surrounded by and immersed in the things you love is very reassuring. :3

I really loved the first book! I dropped Soulless on the second book though. I didn't like where the relationship/sex/whatever was going??? IDK. It just made it feel suddenly fic-like to me. That probably isn't an issue to anyone aside from me though ( ... )

Oh, no! I think my roommate stopped reading after the third book or so, but I think it was due to distraction rather than distaste, haha...

Hmmm - I can't look it up now because I'm at work, but I'll try to find a PDF later! You might also try searching under the titles Don't Bite the Sun and Drinking Sapphire Wine - I always forget that those two parts were originally released separately, and then compiled together into Biting the Sun. XD

It is in my queue! :D Thank you! ♥

Neil Gaiman does his own reading for The Graveyard Book, so you can be sure it's spot on the way it was intended to be read. :D Although somebody else does the reading for Good Omens - Martin Jarvis?

LOLOL. Thank you, thank you! My room is still colourful - just differently now. :P I paint the walls (green), I have more selective art up now and they're all in frames, etc. :P
