Quick and easy.
Do not copy this tutorial step by step. It's just to learn some new techniques, not to copy my ideas.
First, I chose the image that I wanted to use, cropped it, and resized it to 100 x 100.
Then I:
Duplicated the layer.
Set the duplicated layer to Soft Light.
Desaturated the duplicated layer.
Sharpened the duplicated layer three times.
Merged the two layers (Ctrl + E).
Next, I put this texture as a new layer, set it to Soft Light %100 and merged the two layers.
To get this:
Then, I put this gradient as a new layer, set it to Pin Light 75% and merged the two layers.
To get this:
Then, I Duplicated the layer, desaturated it, and set it to overlay 100% and merged the two layers
Then, I Duplicated the layer, desaturated it, and set it to Screen 100% and merged the two layers
Next, I put this texture as a new layer and set it to Screen %100 and merged the two layers.
