Ah, locals
So I have not logged into livejournal for years now (i was surprised that my acct was still valid!) but it has been so refreshing to read through the entries of LOCALS that understand the local scene...it seems everywhere i go now is full of transplants or tourists and i'm not complaining, but damn is it nice to hear about things that are about the history of our city rather than how the bywater and pho ta bay and gambit weekly are amazing (like the appreciation for a reopening of mckenzie's on harrison) thank you fellow new orleanians!!
