in case anyone's interested, i have put a few photos up
here from my trip so far. i'll try to put up more as they come, but i haven't been taking my camera with me much.
today i went to the ave champs elysées to have lunch with martine for her birthday. visited arche de triomphe on the way. for dessert we went to the most amazing patissier/chocolatier/confiseur/salon de thé/restaurant. oh my god. it was so beautifully decorated and they make these fuckoff expensive (but worth it) macaroons. drool. it's called 'ladurée' and when any of you go to paris, i highly recommend you visit. oh dear.
anyway, not much to say other than that. yesterday after trekking in 33° heat to the musee picasso, we found it closed and so went to the musee carnavalet instead. it's a french history museum, with lots of boring art. it would have been really interesting, but all the info was in french. it was in an old house that i think louis XVII lived in.. not entirely sure about that but the house was beautiful. how i would kill to live in a 17th century mansion. (in perth, with alison-pie). tomorrow to montmartre and espace dali.
can't wait to get home and see everyone and go to melbourne with alison. bebeh + melbourne + nine inch nails = best ever.
