WHY WHY WHY...US Skins, should there be smut, and why aren't you reading Viv's jounal and story?
Greetings, y'all. Hope you're all having a splendid time in your current time zone/hemisphere/continent.
SO I'm not going belabour BE's ineptitude regarding the Tony/Tea plotline in Skins. Suffice to say this behemoth of a storyline is stifling everything else. Besides the fact James CANNOT ACT, like, even a little, everything is undermined by how little they actually talk to each other. Tony and Tea are supposed to be intellectual equals but all their scenes comprise of them staring mournfully/lustfully/blandly at each other. It's such a disappointment. From the beginning I wasn't as attached to Tea as some but it's still been massively underwhelming all round. It's not baseball bat to emo kid's head bad but BE has blown whatever decent credit he had with the UK Skins fans. Whoopsie.
BUT WHATEVER. We all know Skins US sucks which is why none of us are posting about it, which is completely understandable. I do, however, have a dilemma. It turns out Tea is unbelievably lame. I mean she looks good but she's really a giant douche, sort of pretty, douche...
(and even though Betty is dull, in her five minutes of screen time I can already tell she is far too good for Tea)
so I'm having a hard time writing my Emily/Naomi/Tea fic. See, I had this scenario in my head where E/N have been going out for a while and in a rut and Emily meets Tea and is charmed and through voodoo magic convinces Naomi they should have a one night stand threesome with Tea to spice things up. Now, the problem here is that Tea is an asshole. I really don't see Emily falling for her charms (or her terrible dance moves. Sorry, Sofia!). SO I dunno. I'm not sure I even want to write it anymore... should I bother? I mean yes, it's still Naomily but maybe I can write a smutty Naomily fic in another context. I dunno...*sigh*
Why are you making it so hard for me to write trashy smutty fiction, Bryan? WHY WHY WHY
Also, Tina, the teacher who apparently likes Chris, is getting an episode. When they were going for an original storyline, we wanted better, not worse!

I would review the latest Skins US but I don't have the energy. It was weird and disjointed as usual. Blah. Although Viv always does the best reviews of Skins, mostly because she rags on their completely implausible use of drugs. I mean, even I picked up that the mushroom scene was deeply stupid and I'm just an ignorant, occasionally pot smoking, drug newbie. Lame.

You should go read it because it is more entertaining than the episode itself and also she uses x-factor gifs. Plus her reviews are better than Rophy's. Sorry, fandom.

oh, and although I am enjoying PLL, if they don't closer to finding out who A/Allison's killer is I will...stamp my foot impotently. I like the show but they should't drag the mystery out forever
