It's alright, I knew you were busy. And not to toot her horn, but Jules managed to sort out any conundrums I had. She really was absolutely brilliant so I was very fortunate. Plus it meant you were completely unspoilt for the end, which I'm pleased about.
I appreciate Freddie and even ~sort of~ like him. I deliberately paralleled him with Emily here since both are the vulnerable, idealistic lovers who spend far too much of their time ~pining~ away. Of course Emily is much more proactive and confident which is why she was the catalyst for Freddie to finally act. I dunno...he really is like Hamlet in way, since he too is moody and indecisive. But these are very relatable faults and yeah, he was interesting to write for. He was certainly a big contrast to Cook, who is all Macbeth like, man of action without thinking of the consequences...and I can't believe I just made two Shakespeare references! *shakes head* But I think the contrast between both characters is the crux of why they are so enjoyable to write about. I’m also thrilled canon have me so much material to work with. They were really the epic love story of gen 2 who weren’t. ;)
Helpful Emily is one of the many reasons why I love Emily. And let's be honest here; the thought of Emily riding skateboard TURNS YOU ON. Do not deny this, as I already know it is so. You have lusty wrong feelings for E Fitch. You want to ride her like a pony... Join the club ;)
I have another few things in the works. I'm petrified of writing Naomily because I'm so invested in this but since I enjoyed writing Emily so much in this I'm thinking I should give them a go. And to make up for all the man wanking going on here I have a feeling my Naomily will end up with both protagonist sans skirts. For, like, half the story *cackles*
