It was almost the perfect night. Despite me being bitter before he showed up, he finally got here... and he was so sweet and his card practically made me cry it was so cute. He wrote a little poem for me:
"Whenever I think of the places I've been or the people I've met,
I can't help but smile at one sure bet.
You know what I mean, you've been places too,
The one bet that pays off? Bet that I'm addicted to you!"
We went to Benihana for dinner because I had always wanted to go there... dinner was good. We ate off each other's plates and drank green tea and had the perfect dinner. He is so cute I can't help but smile just thinking about it.
And then we came back and my roommate and the girls across the hall are so cute.... they left a little sign on my door that said "Hey you lovebirds... come to room 412 for a sweet surprise!" So we went over there and they had baked us a cake with a big "1" candle in the middle... they are so sweet. So we had cake and hung out and all was good. After a little while Scott and I headed back to my room. We curled up together in my bed and watched TV until we both fell asleep.
Perfect night, right??
...Until my evil body started to go crazy on me. At 3am I woke up and ran to the toilet and started throwing up. And again at 6am, and 9am... It was lovely, let me tell you. And then the two times after that I threw up again, but there was no food in my stomach so I basically threw up the lining to my stomach... it was disgusting.
Spent today at the doctor and then just dozing off together the rest of the day. Apparently Benihana gave me food poisoning. Lovely, isn't it?
We were supposed to go to my sorority's date party tonight, but there's no way that I could drink or dance or even handle the loud music... so Scott just left to go home so he can get up for work in the morning, and now I'm going back to sleep.
Oh, and to top of the night... Scott just called me- he got 2 parking tickets- apparently there was a sign behind where he parked that said "No Stopping 4-6pm". And then they gave him another ticket for not having a front license plate. That's 100 bucks he doesn't really have to spend.
...Despite everyhing, though...nothing could really ruin our time together. We're both still glad that we could be with each other.

On our 6-month anniversary we went to Houston's Steakhouse for dinner... and right as we were about to get in the car afterwards, Scott threw up all over the parking lot. He felt sick for the rest of the night. Is anyone else seeing a pattern here???
