FedEx is retarded
Ok so I have been expecting a package from FedEx for a week now. I'm very excited its a very cool toy for Peter. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I'm keeping track of it online, just hoping I'd see it say "Its at your front door" . Its almost 6pm and still no package so I go online and track it and it says it was delivered at 5:09! Signed for by someone named S. Soley. What kind of Bullshit is that? So I go next door, they have someone visiting so I thought maybe I didnt hear the doorbell and their friend signed for it. No such luck.
I call 1-800-go fedex and tell them I've got no package. They say were sorry we will contact the driver and find out what happened..no problem...and hour passes havnt heard from them yet. I call back and they say there are no updates and that it can take 24 hours to hear back from the driver. 24 HOURS! Hello its 2007 call the driver on his Damn Cell Phone!
7am this morning the phone rings, its someone asking for Peter, turns out its the person that has our package, they dont even live in our neighborhood. Not even the same house number...they live on 506 Robin Hood Dr we live on 312 Avatar Ct...I can see how easy it is to mix those up!
So I call FedEx and tell them I've got the address for them to go get our package and bring it too us.. No problem, thanks for the info.
1pm no package, so I call FedEx again and they tell me that the dispatcher called the driver and hopefully he can get the package today....HOPEFULLY...HOPEFULLY!!!! So I go off on the poor girl on the other end of the line...its not her fault, and I told her that...so she should stop apologizing, but how ridiculous is it that all I get is a HOPEFULLY they will take the time to fix their screw up. She said she would put a notation in and have a manager call me...that’s great...what the hell is a manager going to do for me?
And I think that is what pisses me off the most. FedEx has screwed us and there isnt a damn thing I can do about it. Its not like I can bitch and get something free. And its not like I can boycott them...That would keep me from buying anything online...how can I control who the store uses to ship their merchandise.
But I'm still going to bitch and let it known how mad I am. And when ever I have the option to use something other then FedEx I will...even if it costs more and takes longer...
