WHEN: Week 04, 'Kiss the Gift Horse'/ Sunday, December 25th, 2008/ 8:03 PM
WHERE: Outside of Professor Frey's office
WHO: Cladward-- that is, Edward and Claire!
The slight chilliness of the wine bottle in Edward’s hands was the only thing keeping him down to Earth at the very moment he arrived at Professor Frey’s door. His chest was practically pounding so hard that his heart threatened to burst out of it at any given time. He even had to spend a whole half hour in his own office, just to calm his nerves, before venturing to the office of one Claire Frey. Taking a deep breath, Edward shuffled on his feet awkwardly, attempting to come up with some way to greet her after knocking on her door.
“Has your Christmas been... merry?” he whispered ultra-softly, so that no one else could hear but himself. He shook that last idea off before trying another. “I hope your holidays have been well, and I would like to bestow upon you... this... 1792 bottle... Oh, mein Gott.”
He swore under his breath as he bit his lip nervously. Edward just needed to let go of himself for once, he figured. But what if he said something stupid?
Taking another breath, Edward raised a hand and knocked on the door in front of him.
