"Have a sweet day!" Lizzy said, cheerily handing the student her chocolates before looking around the store. This Hogsmeade day definitely made it worth working here over the hospital. Everyone was lively and the students were chattering about what sweets to get. She was glad that Malfoy had decided to let the kids have this break. Everyone should have at least one weekend off, shouldn't they?
She smiled as she heard the bell to the door ring, welcoming another person in with a warm greeting before looking down at her desk. Oh, the surface was slightly sticky, probably from that spill of the Fountain Gum Drops earlier. She grabbed her wand from the back of her pants and quickly whispered a cleaning spell. And she was still amazed at how clean it made the counter. Almost like new! Just like magic!
She laughed to herself as she looked up, an amused smile on her face as she took an inventory of who was in the store and what they had. She slipped her wand in her back pocket and leaned on the counter, satisfied with watching everyone in the store for the moment.
