WHEN: Week 01, 'Big Bang Theory', Monday December 4th, 8 PM precisely WHERE: Wouldn't you like to know? WHO: Oh, just three ladies having a tea party :)
"Patience was never a virtue of yours, Dira," came Adriana's snarked-filled tone not long after the older death eaters very thoughts. She always knew Dira to be rather eager - even more so than herself which was saying something.
Walking closer after apparating into the filthy place, a dungeon if one dared to find a name for it. Adriana was certainly not thrilled with the stench that immediately filled her senses as she arrived, causing her nostrils to burn slightly. Her job required her to go to some questionable locations, but this was following up at the top, for sure. It was positively revolting.
"Suddenly I feel under-dressed for the occasion," Adriana commented, raising her eyebrows at Dira's outfit. Her flare for the theatrics did always amuse her, finding the older woman always dressing up to the gills for torture sessions just as much as when she attended a ball.
Pausing to take in the surroundings, the only audible sound besides their own echoes being the tiny drip-drops of a water leak somewhere.
"No, but who needs virtues?" Dira asked, smirking. Well, if it wasn't her fiancee's favorite cousin and perhaps Dira's favorite as well? How wonderfully vindictive she was! Dira just adored it. She was adorable.
"You know I hate getting blood on my clothes. Wearing red prevents this, you see?" she asked, gesturing to her blood-red outfit with a smirk.
"I suppose we should," she adds, standing up from the Victorian sofa and smoothing her dress down to her hips so that it didn't flare up and reveal anything improper.
"I am guessing you took care of our other little mess already?" she asked, referring to the bitch who bore the impish little pup downstairs, leading the way to the staircase. She even opened the door for Adriana politely.
"Clearly not you," Adriana commented, smiling impishly to her future cousin-in-law. While it helped that she was close to Lucern and therefore his spouse would be in Adriana's good books almost instantly - she actually liked Dira on her own. She was extremely enthusiastic about her work, sometimes a bit over the top, but nonetheless, she was perfectly dark and ultimately evil and Adriana respected that. The world needed more of Dira's sort, and less of... Lissianna's.
Yes, Adriana gathered she meant the Gryffindor's mother. And yes, she had already come from that "mess". Dira was more on the spot than she probably even meant.
"Indeed," she replied idly, slipping on a new, clean set of gloves as she followed Dira. "The feisty ones are endlessly fun."
She nodded as the door was opened for her, walking through. Once inside, wand already in her right hand, Adriana took in the true stench of the place. It was absolutely disgusting, and she couldn't wait to get started.
"I know I have no need to ask you if you're ready."
Louvika Hawkins didn't so much awake as she drew herself away from whatever sort of daze she'd allowed herself to fall into to conserve energy. She liked to think of it like a power-save mode, the VCR at her house had.
But now she heard them coming and she knew this was only danger for her.
She'd spent most of the day trying to get free. What else was she supposed to do? Resign herself to her fate? As if! But, of course, this idea could only take a person so far. Once they realized that the bonds that held them tied to the wall were magical, once they realized that they didn't have a wand... things looked a little bleak.
Even though she'd been expecting this to happen for so long, Lou didn't realize that the actual dying part was doing to take forever. She sorta wished they'd hurry it up
( ... )
Dira did nothing but give Adriana a sharp nod, indicating that she should go down ahead down the stairs.
She knew what awaited them at the bottom. She had helped tie the pathetic thing up last night after the man who had waited here to help them had stunned it upon arrival. Adriana's sick little plan worked well.
That was why Dira loved her so very much.
Once she reached the bottom of the stairs, she cast a spell that created a small blue orb of light that hovered between the three of them. Ah, good. The creature was awake.
"Well, good morning," she created the redhaired imp. This was good because it meant they didn't have to extract it from its sleep themselves. Less work that way.
"It looks like you've slept the day away," she chided in a and almost sultry voice, shifting her hips to the side and holding her wand up as she examined her nails.
"I'm afraid you'd put a slight delay in our plans."
Adriana, on the other hand, hadn't seen the girl since the previous day at Hogwarts. She was aware of the plans and what the Gryffindor would find once she accidentally grabbed the portkey disguised in that ugly-looking pendant, but other than that, didn't need to be here.
Of course her plan worked. Honestly.
If the girl was asleep, it wouldn't have made that much of a concern to Adriana. It wouldn't take long for her to awaken on her very own after a few choice spells.
Eyes adjusting to the light from Dira's wand, Adriana watched the girl closely.
"Thankfully, we have the entire day to make up for any time lost!" With a devious smile, Adriana swung her wand between her fingers idly, crossing around to the other side of where the girl was tied up. "Hmm. For once I don't know where to begin."
A mere second later, and she tossed a light Crucio at her.
Louvika did all she could to brace herself when the curse came flying at her, but that didn't really prevent the pain whatsoever. Nothing she'd heard about in Defense Against the Dark Arts could prevent her from feeling the pain, and she gritted her teeth, knowing if she screamed it would only push these two harpies even further.
But the further it went along, the more she couldn't do anything to comfort herself, bound as she was. A groan came from her throat and slowly developed into a shrill shriek-- short but gasping, for she'd been preventing it from coming up by holding her breath.
But there it was, loud and echoing around the moldy little basement, and she was completely unable to prevent it, the pain pulling at her joints, her legs, her arms, and invading her head like the worst migraine ever.
The scream made the adrenaline in Dira's body thud against her, and her smile grew before she could stop it. She smiled at Adriana-- oh, wouldn't the girl look so lovely in red at her wedding? Yes, Dira was sure that was the color they'd have to go with for the bridesmaids' outfits.
"Now, my dear," she scolded the Gryffindor girl gently, watching her shake and struggle against the bonds, "they're not going to break. And they only get tighter the more you pull-- as I am sure you've found out."
She stepped forward so she was almost nose-to-nose with the screaming girl.
Oh, red was Adriana's favourite colour to wear in a dress besides black. So she could absolutely confirm that she would look stunning in the shade!
She let the curse stay at a fairly low setting, waiting until the screaming increased to focus all her power on cursing the pathetic Gryffindor. Though the girl's wailing was extremely loud and painful with the echoing around the room, Adriana's face was perfectly calm, save for the tiniest of smiles.
There were only a spare few times she had used the curse against real victims on the job, so every moment was savoured, and she concentrated heavily on mastering the spell, aiming to make it as powerful as possible.
She took the Crucio off as she heard Dira speak, all but too eager to hear her idea. There was plenty of time for them both to have fun testing out their new toy.
She took her wand out and held it up to the creature's head. Clearly, the long red mane was something the girl prided herself on-- the wavy curls hung down past her lower back. It reminded Dira of growing up-- there had been this one girl who was the daughter of a friend of her father's. She had had hair that long and had prided herself on it, combing it constantly, and always running her fingers through it.
Dira had set it on fire during a birthday party.
"Such pretty hair, pretty girl," she purred to the whelp, although she wasn't about to touch it with her finger. A little zap from her wand and a couple locks fell to the floor. She hadn't done it directly from the scalp, but had burned from less than an inch out, leaving an un-even patch.
"Mmm yes. So beautiful. I imagine it has taken you so long to grow it out...oops!" there was another stinging zap and another clump was gone, this time from slightly closer, the curse nicking the scalp and causing it to start to bleed
( ... )
Lou winced when the pain finally came to an end, shutting her eyes and panting silently, since the Silencing charm was still cast over her throat. She gasped, and tried to moisten her mouth again, too shocked from the pain. But she knew it was only going to get worse
( ... )
Ah, Dira was so unhinged! It was clear she was going for pride as well as the pain of something physical, and was clearly enjoying it.
Adriana wasn't as apt to little mind tricks, she preferred the torturous pain that elicited direct response from the body; she could care less for crying and begging. Something as trivial as hair... when the victims were going to die anyway, what did that matter?
Adriana paced a couple steps to the right and then left, observing everything, smirking at Dira's display of mock apology, the maniacal grin on the older death eater's face showing that she was anything but apologetic in what she was doing.
"Those can't be tears, are they?" Adriana questioned suddenly, pausing and crouching down to eye-level with Lou, head cocking to the side. "Aren't you a mighty Gryffindor? The strong heroes of Hogwarts - Reduced to sobs already? What a disappointment, I expected better."
The instant that Adriana's face was within spitting range, she did it, a nice big old lougie right in the eye.
Yeah, she was scared, but apparently not scared enough to do something like that. If she'd had used of her fingers, she would've given Adriana a choice finger to go with it. And maybe, if she'd had the use of her voice, a few choice words as well.
The woman in the res dress had by now 'accidentally' cut off nearly all of her hair, the pretty red locks laying about her feet. But Lou didn't care. She wanted to fight, and that light was glowing in her eyes.
She wanted to fight? Oh, she'd get herself a fight. One that she wouldn't be able to fight back in.
Being touched in any way by filth such as this girl was... well, revolting. Adriana couldn't really even put a word for how enraged she felt when the bitch had the nerve to do that.
Her expression showed none of that, though, and she simply sighed, rising to her feet while a quick swish of her wand instantly cleaned herself off.
Tucking some hair behind her ear, then, casually, Adriana muttered 'Sectumsempra' and the flash of light from her wand flew across the Gryffindor's face, sure to leave a nice big gouge.
Adriana normally did enjoy hearing the pain she put her victims through, but Merlin, this girl had one set of lungs on her that the echoes bouncing off the walls in the basement made it almost painful for everyone in said basement.
Cringing lightly, Adriana scratched the side of her nose, awaiting until the irritating scream subsided. And sure enough, it did.
"I thought I'd match your hairstyling job," she replied, voice laced with the sarcasm that was rather classic for anyone who knew Adriana all that well.
Rolling her eyes at the pathetic attempt at grammar, she laughed at her pleading. "Yes, if you should be so lucky," Adriana pouted, mocking the girl. "Not to worry, we'll make you wish you were dead."
