Claire threw herself down onto the sofa and groaned. She was tired and she was sore, worn out from being on her feet all day. She had been there at breakfast when some select students had decided to make their opinions heard about the muggleborn registration. Claire hadn't left the Great Hall all day, save to use the toilet. She had cancelled her classes and set up position between certain Ministry personnel and the protesting students.
She didn't know whether to admire the kids gall in standing up for what they believed in or to fell horrified that they were risking their futures by defying the Ministry of Magic. They would surely have some serious black marks against their names now and they were screwed if they ever wanted Ministry jobs. People that thought for themselves and proved they wouldn't put up with injustice, well, they weren't the sort of people the Ministry liked to hire.
Merlin's beard, she wasn't a beer drinker but she could have gone for an ice cold pint right about now.
