There is not a word to describe how pissed off I am at my mom. She kicked me off the internet, so she could talk on the phone. When I check to see if she's done, I hear this:
"...he's probably off writing another play with that black girl..."
I don't have a problem with someone saying, for example, "You know Liberty, right? Really smart, wears glasses, light black skin, goes out with JT..." but, I know my mom wasn't using "black" as a point of reference. She was putting Liberty down. Somehow, in her crazy, little world, it is bad to have less-than-lily-white skin. Sure, she's been a racist bitch before, but never towards Liberty. Before, I would get pissed, but now, I am on the war path.
