[ Have Watanuki. Have Watanuki fussing over--is that a scarf?

Why yes, it's a scarf! A matching set, worn by his Gabite and Dragonite, to be specific. Shun and Suzu seem rather happy, and are comparing notes on the softness and quality of their respective garments. Watanuki turns and looks at the 'gear, smiling. ]It hasn't gotten very cold yet, ( Read more... )

What is this whole Halloween thing, anyway? Everyone keeps mentioning it. And do pokemon even need clothes? They live in the wild just fine without them, and it's not like we'll be going out in any of those blizzard things this time if we can help it.

Halloween is an American holiday where everyone dresses up in costumes, and you go door-to-door for candy!

As for the costumes and coats, well, it's not something they need, but they seem to like wearing them all the same. And they look nice, don't they?

Oh, really? That actually sounds kind of fun.

I don't know how they look, you'll have to tell me.

[ o-orz MUN IS FACEPALMING RN BUT WHATEVS ]

Ah, I'm sorry...I made some cream-colored scarves for Suzu and Shun, and a red coat for Hanabi with a faux fur trim. I also made her a vampire costume.

What's a vampire?

It's a monster that drinks blood. Some stories say it can turn into a bat, or that it can be warded off with a crucifix or garlic.

Oh. So it's like a rainbow drinker.

Humans have weird names for things.

A rainbow drinker--oh, because of the different shades of blood, right?

I think trolls have weird names for things, so we're even.

Yeah! So it's like drinking a rainbow. It's kind of dumb, really, but it explains it pretty well.

Troll names aren't weird, because they tell you exactly what something is. Your names don't say anything about it.

I'm sure more names would make sense, if you studied their etymology.

What does that mean?

'Etymology'? The origin of words.

Oh.

No, it'd be easier if you just explained what everything is instead of using weird short words like "vampire", or your short movie names, or any of that.

What's wrong with our movie titles?

They're short and don't tell you anything that's going to happen in the movie! The ones here are all puns, too, but I don't think yours are normally like that. But the short thing is just weird.

The movie titles where I come from are pretty straightforward. I've heard that in America they're more like puns. What are troll movie titles like?
