my mom today got in a car accident. when i got home she was pissed because it was her fault and the medical expenses are way beyond what we can keep up with. so i gave her and hug and a kiss and told her i loved her. now if u know me well u would know that i can not remember the last time i gave my mom a hug let alone a kiss or said i love you to her. we dont really have a what you call "strong" relationship. however when i gave her a hug and showed my affenction, she neither spoke, nor returned the affection. and you wonder why our relationship doesn't work.
