concert week

So it has definitely been a concert week. I saw Placebo with Sherri and it was amazing. I usually do not enjoy concerts where I don't know many songs but I really, really enjoyed it so much. I mean they just had a great stage presence and it's hard not to get into a concert when everyone around you is having so much fun.

Then Saturday I saw Bob Dylan and The Raconteurs. Bob Dylan was really good but I was mainly there to see The Raconteurs which I loved as well. Jack White is an amazing guitar player, it's just amazing. At first I think a lot of the crowd was like ummm, what is this because they're not really a Bob Dylan kind of band. However, as they continued to play the audience really caught in and in the end they got a pretty good standing ovation. I got a Raconteurs T-Shirt and I was surprised at how expensive it was. Then the price made more sense when the lady told me it was made by American Apparel. I was familiar with the company because they have a store in Harvard Square. They make all their clothes in the United States in non-sweatshops so it tends to be more expensive. In other words, YAY for Jack White and The Raconteurs for being socially conscious.

I should go to sleep but I'm telling myself it's okay because I don't have to be at Children's till noon because I'm working 4-7 in the ER tomorrow. It will be interesting but I am a little nervous.

I've also realized that I like to dance a little too much. I mean I listen to music and I can't sit still. I probably should stop but dancing around is too much fun.
