Phoebe wasn't as bored, she was just... well, she was restless. There were lots of things that she would like to be out doing, but some of her ideas seemed to cause a great deal of flailing from Cole and Anders. When she saw Cole flipping through channels, she perched on the edge of the couch next to him.

"We could put in a movie, instead, love."

Or they could have their afternoon interrupted by a slightly tipsy on champagne Veronica who just happened to be knocking on the door.

Cole was just about to suggest a racy movie when he heard the knocking. "Nice timing," he sighed.

"I'll make it up to you," she promised, before heading to the door. She looked through the peephole and saw Veronica. Remembering what she said before about just letting anyone in, she grinned. "Who is it?"

"It's Veronica," she replied.

"We already have a Veronica, we don't need another," Cole called from the couch.

"How do we know it's really you?"

Veronica pouted. "Okay, fiiiiiine, don't let me in," she said. "But then you'll never know my exciting news."

"Let her in," Cole told Phoebe. "Her news might be that she's decided to stop harassing Sam because she's fallen madly in love with him."

She laughed. "She would never admit that to us in such a happy tone of voice, love." She was giggling when she opened the door. "Sorry," she told her friend. "But you did tell me not to just let everybody in."

"It's okay," Veronica said. "I'd rather you be safe. Besides, I'm happy and I drank a bottle of champagne with Piper and I had to come tell my other best friends."

Cole raised an eyebrow. "We're very happy for you and your bottle of champagne," he said.

"Champagne's a very good friend to have," Phoebe agreed. She walked back to the couch so she could sit next to Cole again. "So what's up?"

Veronica followed Phoebe except she plopped down on Cole's lap and held out her left hand for them to examine.

Cole blinked, studying the rock. "I don't think that's legal here yet," he said. "You going to go back to California?"

Phoebe, being a girl, caught on quick. "He proposed to you? Really?!" She tackle-hugged Veronica... causing Cole to now have two women in his lap. "That's great!"
